Please note, this call is not intended for answering health questions, but rather to ensure you understand our approach and services.
Ready to move forward and schedule your first session? Start with a 50-minute initial consultation.
During your consultation your primary concerns, symptoms, and health history will be thoroughly reviewed. Based on your needs, Dr. Michelle will recommend and order the most appropriate functional lab tests.
Functional tests, designed to uncover the root cause of your symptoms, may include urine, saliva, stool, or blood samples. Most tests can be completed at home, but if blood work is required, you’ll be directed to a local lab.
All sessions are conducted virtually via Google Meet for your convenience.
SCOPE OF PRACTICE & SERVICE DISCLAIMER
Dr. Michelle Mejia is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic and Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner in the state of Montana, where she practices under her active chiropractic license. For clients located outside of Montana, including in states where she is not licensed as a chiropractor, Dr. Michelle offers virtual wellness consulting based on her Master’s degree in Nutrition and her Functional Nutrition Coach certification.
All services provided—whether in Montana or virtually—are educational in nature and intended to support general wellness, nutritional balance, lifestyle improvement, and health education. Dr. Michelle does not prescribe medications or diagnose or treat medical conditions. Her services do not replace the care of a licensed medical doctor or other qualified healthcare provider.
Chiropractic care is only provided to clients within the state of Montana, where Dr. Michelle holds an active license. For all other clients, recommendations related to nutrition, lifestyle, supplements, or functional labs are offered strictly within the scope of wellness consulting and nutrition education, based on integrative and evidence-informed principles.
By engaging in services outside of Montana, clients understand that they are not entering into a doctor-patient relationship. Any lab testing ordered through Rupa Health for out-of-state clients will be reviewed and co-signed by a nationally-licensed physician, as required. The wellness services and educational approach remain consistent regardless of client location, with licensure and scope of practice determining the structure of care.
